There is an ongoing stigma and concern for police officers in upholding masculinity and alpha behavior and attitude within their workplace and peers. While men are police officers in their job and career, there is a complex and difficulty for the to be openly and comfortable in their sexuality and who they are, both personally and professionally. The Rise in Mental Health in Young Adults- Social Media

The rise in mental health is at an all time high worldwide, specifically social media in young adults. According to (Rosenberg, 2019), mental health in young adults has continued to increase over the years between the years 2008 and 2021, there has been a significant and largest increase in the younger adults population by 71%. It is important to understand the role of psychology professionals and how essential they are in social change. Psychologist are critical in social justice in the mishandling of mental health citizens within the community at the hands of police officers. According to (American Psychological Association, 2021), psychologists explain the longevity in the role psychologists have to partake in when it comes to not just policing.
